UACC Multicultural Music

The purpose of this blog site is to provide UACC students with information concerning the multicultural music they will be performing throughout the year. The UACC will perform approximately 6-10 pieces from countries other than the US and in languages other than English. This UACC blog site will contain translations of mulitcultural music, pictures of the country from which the songs originate, links to websites with pertinent information about the original countries, and much more.

Los Reyes del Oriente

The song "Los Reyes del Oriente" is a Christmas song from the country of Puerto Rico. It is arranged by David Eddleman and translated into English. The English translation says:

Following a star that sings in wondrous splendor,
Out of the East it guides us ever onwards.
Oh shining star that leads us into morning,
Your brillant light this holy night adorning.
